Stewart Egebrecht Memorial

It is with great sadness that the Titusville Playhouse family announces the passing of Stewart Egebrecht—beloved actor, bartender, partner to Steven for 26 years, and cherished friend to so many in Chicago, Colorado and Florida.

Many at the theatre will remember Stewart from his unforgettable performances on our stage, including the iconic Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show, the Wizard in The Wizard of Oz, and Yukon Cornelius in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Whether he was in the spotlight or behind the bar, Stewart brought joy, laughter, and kindness to everyone he encountered.

As we prepare to celebrate Stewart’s life, we are creating a memorial photo and video slideshow and would love to include your favorite memories. If you have photos or short video clips you would like to share, please send them to memorialstewart@gmail.com.

We ask that you keep Steven and all of us at the Playhouse in your thoughts as we navigate this tremendous loss. Stewart’s warmth, humor, talent, and friendship will be deeply missed, and the Time Warp will never be quite the same again.
